Viral video shows hammerhead sharks circling Florida beachgoers

Beachgoers in Florida set free screams when a gaggle of hammerhead sharks circled them.

Shrieks and laughter could possibly be heard by adults and kids close by because the sharks’ fins started to emerge from the water over the Memorial Day weekend in Pensacola.

The video was captured by Jacqueline Lesso of Alabama, who was on a ship with pals on May 29 and counted a number of sharks whereas recording, Fox 13 News reported.

“They’re coming in!” a girl within the video mentioned.

Two individuals sitting on a float close by gave the impression to be unbothered by the hammerheads, whereas the third advised somebody to “shut up” once they mentioned the sharks had been proper beneath her.

“None of the sharks were aggressive in any way and the screaming was more of excitement than hysteria,” Lesso advised Fox 13 News. “A lesson learned to keep your cool and stay calm.”

Hammerhead sharks are identified to inhabit the shallow waters of the Atlantic coast in Florida and are ranked seventh in unprovoked assaults on people, in line with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
