Thirteen people have been killed and 70 damage when an overpass carrying Mexico City metro prepare automobiles partially collapsed on to a highway on Monday night time, authorities mentioned.

A video on native channel Milenio TV reveals the overpass collapsing on automobiles on a highway beneath, sending a prepare plunging down and trapping automobiles below rubble.

The accident left a preliminary toll of 13 useless and 70 injured, in line with the town’s Comprehensive Risk Management and Civil Protection Agency.

Mexico City mayor Claudia Sheinbaum travelled to the scene of the accident and mentioned on Twitter: “Firefighters, public safety personnel are working. Various hospitals attending. We will give more information shortly.”
