A contractor working at a Los Angeles County vaccination center was charged on Wednesday with stealing greater than 500 blank vaccine cards.

Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón announced the charges in a Wednesday press launch.

Muhammad Rauf Ahmed, a contract worker at the Pomona Fairplex’s vaccine supersite and Las Vegas resident, was charged with one felony rely of grand theft. In the discharge, prosecutors alleged that the worth of every stolen card was near $15.
