2 injured, including a juvenile, in separate shootings in Charlotte, CMPD says

A juvenile is in the hospital with life-threatening accidents after being shot in south Charlotte on Thursday evening, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police stated.

At 9:32 p.m., police responded to a name about a potential assault with a lethal weapon at Big Cone Place and Longleaf Drive, close to Carolina Pavilion. Officers discovered a juvenile with a gunshot wound after they arrived on the scene. Medic took the juvenile to the hospital, police stated.

Police didn’t give the juvenile’s age or a motive for the taking pictures.

About an hour earlier, shortly after eight p.m., police responded to experiences of pictures being fired into an occupied dwelling on the 3700 block of Carlyle Drive.
