3 Possible Reasons Why The Official Legalization Could Be Delayed

When Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was elected in 2015, one of his main platform promises was to legalize, regulate and tax the sale of marijuana. For a long time, Canada has had a multi-billion-dollar black market for marijuana, so legalization was inevitable. Last year on April 20th, it was announced that marijuana would be legalized July 1st of 2018, but the Prime Minister has since gone back on that statement as delays and regulatory issues continue to arise.
